B.B.A. in Business and Technology

BizTech provides graduates with the right business theory and technological skills to deliver innovative and creative solutions for today’s digital businesses and related industries. The programme is a collaboration between three different faculties at Silpakorn University, namely Silpakorn University International College, Faculty of Management Science, and the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, in partnership with Paris School of Technology & Business, France.

Requirement

Education

A high school education level or equivalent from an accredited school/institution, or educational system: GED, NZQA, GCSE or IGCSE/ AS-Level, GCE A-level and IB.

English

English proficiency within 2 years before the application or pass SUIC’s English proficiency test:
A minimum TOEFL score of 72 IBT or 543 ITP, IELTS score of 5.5, TOEIC score of 785 (Listening and Reading), Oxford Online Placement Test of 61, Cambridge English of 160, CU-TEP score of 70 or Proof of English proficiency at B2 level of Silpakorn Test of English Proficiency (STEP) or higher, according to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This is subject to the latest announcement of Silpakorn University on English proficiency standards.

Study Plan

Year 1

Students take general education courses alongside a wide range of fundamental and basic courses in business theory and technology.

Year 2

In the first semester, students further investigate business practice and enhanced technological skills before going to France in the first semester of the third year.

Year 3

Students will go to Paris School of Technology and Business in France during the first semester (both for the 3-year and 4-year study plans), as well as continuing to study courses which focus on the application of business knowledge, applying advanced technical skills and critical thinking.

Year 4

In the final year, students will have an internship for at least 360 hours with a business and technological company to enhance real life working experiences. Students will also develop further skills in project management and study professional elective courses to specialise in certain skills.
